Position Overview

We are looking to add a Systems & Network Administrator to our team. This is an on-site, hands-on role where you will work directly with both our internal team and our clients.
This position is best suited for someone with prior experience supporting business environments who can step in and contribute with minimal ramp-up. Our work is entirely business-to-business, supporting companies that rely on their systems to operate, so responsiveness and follow-through are essential.
Day to day, you’ll be addressing issues as they come in, assisting with ongoing projects, and helping maintain and improve the environments we support.

This position is on-site at our Pewaukee office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain client environments, ensuring systems remain stable and secure
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of servers, networks, firewalls, backups, and cloud platforms
• Administer core systems including Microsoft 365, email, antivirus, and user accounts
• Perform installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance across systems and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across servers, networks, desktops, and applications; escalate when appropriate
• Provide end-user support via phone, remote access, and in-person
• Assist with infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and deployments
• Conduct routine system checks and identify areas for improvement
• Communicate with clients and internal staff regarding issues, updates, and recommendations
• Assist with user onboarding, including setup, access, and basic training
• Support cybersecurity efforts by following established best practices
• Contribute to documentation and internal processes as needed
• Continue developing technical skills to support evolving client needs

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems, or network administration (MSP experience preferred)
• Experience supporting Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365; familiarity with Azure is a plus
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and switching
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting servers, desktops, and network systems
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Working knowledge of DNS, VPNs, and Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments; macOS or Google Workspace is a plus

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Experience with tools such as Ninja, SonicWall, SentinelOne, Mimecast, and Microsoft platforms
• Experience supporting firewall platforms, particularly SonicWall or similar
• Familiarity with endpoint detection & response (EDR) and email security platforms
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, networking, virtualization, or cybersecurity)

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000, based on experience and qualifications
• Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
